MLA worked with Calvary Chapel Eastside over a 15 year time period to help them realize their dream of a multipurpose facility that would become their ministry home. This 32,000 sf two story building with an underground parking garage includes a 600 seat worship room, a large, light-filled lobby, coffee shop, classrooms, an intimate chapel, and offices. The building will also house a day care facility in 2018. It is situated on a steep, wooded site, with wetlands and a riparian corridor, and the site and building design carefully protected the site's sensitive features and worked with the challenging topography to realize a cost-effective solution.
