Merrick Lentz Architect is a full-service Architectural and Planning firm, serving the business and residential community since 1985. Our wide and varied experience allows us to maintain the highest professional and design standards on many different types of projects. We work with each client to create a finished product that is exemplary in design and function, while strictly adhering to programmatic and budgetary requirements. We take pride in serving each client and approaching each project with careful attention to the highest standards of professional practice and integrity. Though most of our work is concentrated in the West we regularly provide architectural services for projects throughout the United States, and are currently licensed in 12 states, including most western states, Florida and Texas. We have extensive experience in Restaurants, High End Retail, Religious Buildings, and Non-Profit Organizations, and have worked in many additional building types throughout our history, including dental clinics, multi-family projects, office, retail, medical facilities, hospitality, casinos, tenant improvements, banks and custom residences. Our commitment to developing a complete, in-depth understanding of our client’s needs enables us to provide successful projects and excellent design solutions across a wide variety of building types.

A graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Architecture, Rick started out as a Planner in 1971, and began practicing architecture a few years later. He established the firm in 1985, and is enjoying a long and successful run at the helm, developing an extensive, varied portfolio of many types of building projects.
C R A I G C H A N E Y
Craig graduated from the University of Washington in 1988 with a Masters of Architecture and joined MLA early in his architectural career. He was licensed in 1992. Committed to lifelong learning he has developed proficiency across many different building program types and through all project phases, in order to best serve each client's project needs.
J A S O N B E A G L E
Jason has over 15 years of experience on residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and restaurant projects and has managed projects with steel, concrete, masonry, heavy timber, and light frame construction. He has worked for Merrick Lentz Architect for over 10 years. A licensed architect since 2001, he earned his Bachelor of Architecture in 1995 from Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo.
